# debug_traceTransaction

> Returns execution trace of a transaction

## Parameters

<ParamField body="transactionHash" type="string" required>
  Transaction hash (32 bytes)
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="options" type="object">
  Trace options (tracer, timeout, etc.)
</ParamField>

## Returns

<ParamField body="trace" type="object">
  Execution trace object
</ParamField>
