# eth_getUncleByBlockHashAndIndex

> Returns uncle block by block hash and index

## Parameters

<ParamField body="blockHash" type="string" required>
  Hash of the block (32 bytes)
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="index" type="string" required>
  Uncle index position (hex)
</ParamField>

## Returns

<ParamField body="uncle" type="object">
  Uncle block object or `null`
</ParamField>
